What would you like to know?

No not about the Meaning of Life, is there any point in Mah Jong or where to find semolina in Sainsburys – but what more information would you like us to give you when you’re deciding whether to buy?

What could we add to the website to make it more useful?

We want to make it as easy as possible for you to find out everything that’s important to you, as fast and simply as we can. So we’re asking for experts to help us … you!

  1. Hi Trevor. Yes the GoKart fits very neatly into the front boot. You don’t need to take the wheels off, but if you do remove one you can store the battery alongside too. A fact that’s made an awful lot of Porsche drivers very happy!

  2. Is it OK to leave the battery on charge permanently when I’m not using it – I usually play twice a week?

  3. Hi Chris, yes it’s fine to leave the battery on charge all the time you’re not playing – probably the easiest way to deal with charging too. Just make it a habit to put the battery on charge when you come back from playing, and take the battery off charge when you head off to the course the next time.

  4. Hi, Do you make an attatchment to fit accessories to the kart. I have a snooper golf course gps.
    thanks Paul

  5. Hi Paul, when our gps holder is ready it’ll be designed to fit all sorts of distance devices, we’ve made a note to let you know when it’s available.

  6. To fit my golf clubs and Gokart in my car boot size I have to remove the wheels of my Gokart. Because of the size of my hands and long nails I am unable to ‘pinch’ the two green bits together. Sandy Catford sent my husband new hubs but that did not help. Do you have a tool that could be used to do this?

  7. As you sell pink n black bags, do you also have a pink n black cart to match?

  8. Hi Jackie – some ladies find that using two thumbs, rather than a pincer grip with one hand does the trick. Please do try this and let us know how you get on.

  9. Not quite yet, but we’re expecting to have good news on this in the next couple of months. Quite a few have been taken out there and seem more than a bit happy on SA fairways. We’ll make a note to let you know when we announce the new distributor’s details.

  10. The handle isn’t adjustable, but the GoKart seems to ‘fit’ a lot of people. If you were to buy it and you found it wasn’t comfortable to use, you would of course get a full refund and we’d collect the trolley. But we reckon you’ll be fine.

  11. My course requires all players to carry a sand bucket to repair divots. Do you make a bucket hook? Currently I have a home made hook which is not particularly attractive. Also play on a hilly course so a foot brake would be useful. Do you have an Australian distributor yet?

  12. Hi Clive,
We’ll be announcing news of the Australian distributor shortly – they’re based in Melbourne. We’ll be making an attachment for a hook especially for Oz. No plans for a brake at present though. We’ll make a note to contact you when the hook is ready – it’ll be a retro-fit so you’ll be fine.

  13. hi just wondering if you have any atatchments for a go cart as i have got one second hand and its got pink wheel insurts /pink handle clip and a pink speed controller do you have any in stock and what would be the price for everything many thanks mr hughson.

  14. Hi Stuart,
Do you want to give us a call and we can talk through what you might want to add or change to the existing trolley. I’m sure we can help. 01227 712288

  15. Hi Colin – yes, we’ll be supplying a lithium option shortly. It will of course be more expensive than the standard lead acid battery, but will last for at least 36 holes on one charge and is guaranteed for 2 years, not 1. Considerably lighter, it still fits inside our standard battery carrier so can be used on all GoKarts. We’ll drop you a line when we have it available.

  16. Please also contact me when the lithium option is available.
Do you have any idea as to time scale and price?

  17. Your website does not talk about noise level of the the engine bits and pieces when the trolley is in operation. Does that mean it is silent?

  18. Hi John. the GoKart isn’t completely silent, it does make a mechanical noise but in no way is this intrusive on the course. Try it out and see and if you’re not happy we’ll collect and refund. We reckon you’ll be thoroughly satisfied though.

  19. We should have a good stock of lithium batteries within a month or so. Please get in touch with us if you definitely want one and we’ll put one by for you.

  20. You’ll probably find that you’ll turn the power off anyway going downhill, but the GoKart is happy either way. Just drive it in a way you feel comfortable with.

  21. I am now a resident of Malaysia (x UK). If I purchase a GoKart on my next visit to bring back to Malaysia, can I have without paying VAT?

  22. do you get a battery charger when you purchase a gokart or is this an optional extra.

  23. The battery charger is included in the price of the set – you get the trolley, battery and charger. And for a short while (until the end of July) you also get a brolly holder and a transit bag (total value £38) completely free of charge.

  24. Please can you let me know how long initially the battery should be charged for – i.e. from first unwrapping the lovely trolley!

  25. We would have to charge you VAT when you buy the trolley, but supply you with forms to reclaim the tax when you leave the country.

  26. Hi Brett, we ask you to charge the battery for at least 8 hours before using it the first time.

  27. How do I get those amazing gokart ELECTRIC trolley in Asia? I am in Singapore where is the nearest country Gokart have a representative or distributors?

  28. Hi Jeff,
We don’t have a distributor in Asia yet, but we can ship out for individual orders. The cost of shipping is £175 per unit currently, so it is rather expensive.

  29. Hi think your golf trolley looks fab and thinking of investing. Just a little concerned if something goes wrong with it and the fact that I live in Wicklow Ireland. How do I get it repaired? also does that bundle offer still stand?
    thanks,
    Diana

  30. Can you provide a lithium battery to fit the gokart? If so how much would it be as part of a bundle? Thanks

  31. Can you please tell me is the go kart warranty still valid if i buy a second hand go kart trolley with 18 mths left on it.

  32. read that they can be noisy in comparison with rivals, however, the reviews were a couple of years old.
Is this the case or have you addressed the problem???

  33. We resolved the noise issue a long time ago. We changed the motor to a similarly powerful (230W) but quieter one. So all sorted now. It does still make a mechanical noise but not an issue at all.

  34. Yes, we’re happy to stand by the remaining warranty if a GoKart is sold on. We’d just need to know the details of the original owner so we can keep our records straight.

  35. The GoKart set includes a battery and charger so you don’t need to order these separately. If you did want a second battery at any point the cost would be £49 plus £7.20 postage and packing if ordered separately.

  36. We can supply the lithium battery. The whole set with a lithium battery and charger would be £444 plus £15 delivery. Ordering two accessories on top of this would qualify you for the bundle discount.

  37. Hi Diana, yes, we have the bundle discount active at the moment – so €25 off if you buy two accessories. And being in Ireland doesn’t mean we won’t look after you. We take the same care of you as we do of customers on the doorstep. The only thing we can’t do is send you a loaner if your trolley is off the road. We have very good transport arrangements and are able to respond extremely quickly if you do need us.

  38. Hi i am about to purchase the standard gokart and wondering about the time of shipping. How long is this going to be?

  39. Hi, just wondered how close you are to releasing a gps/phone holder. I know phones are a no no on the course but i have an iphone 4 with an excellent golf gps app (just turn phone to silent so no probs). Also as you have now designed the new trolley will you be offering trade in’s for existing customers. Many thanks ian

  40. Shipping is generally pretty quick, wither the same working day or the day after (for standard GoKarts) We are however quoting 14 days for the Automatic.
