Casey should be playing. Total madness; world Number 8 and not in our squad. If we lose by a slim margin we will personally hold Monty to blame for a thoroughly bad decision. And if we win we would have won by a mile with Casey on board. We don’t often get cross about stuff but this is just plain annoying.
I totally agree. How can you choose Harrington who’s as on-fire as a bowl of coc-pops? It was obvious that Old Chums count for more than current ranking. The only thing I could account for it was it is a European team and Monty couldn’t choose three English wild-cards.
Still, I think we’ll win but Harrington had better be top points scorer like Poults was last time, to justify his pick.
I feel that Padraig should have been left out he has not played at all well in the last year and have no confidence in that pick. He is the only one I would change
Monty’s excuse for selecting Harrington was his experience. An experienced lose,r zero points in the last two Ryder Cups. I still cannot believe that Harrington was chosen instead of Casey.
