Today’s Golfer have an interesting scheme we thought we’d try out.  You send in a clip of your golf swing and a PGA Golf Professional gives you a lesson. All very simple to submit and view the results (and nobody else gets to laugh at admire your technique).  Lessons start at £9.95
It’s called the TG Swing Doctor, and you can take a look here.

  1. There are just so many things wrong with this concept that a proper company like GoKart should be avoiding it like the plague.
First, its Today’s Golfer, whose only claim to fame is rehashing the same “How to fix your slice” article in every edition since their inception.
Second, a proper pro would not even attempt to give swing analysis on the basis solely of a down the line vid.
Third, you can go see a flesh and blood pro for another fiver and spend half an hour with them, not some trite 3 minute “our backswing” nonsense.
Fourth, what the heck has this got to do with trolleys?!
Fifth and up to 500th, its Today’s Golfer.
Please don’t go the route of offering supposed bargain stuff that is effcetively a nonsense, and that doesn’t relate to your core product.

  2. Creosote makes some very valid points, however, I don’t think GO KART are endorsing the scheme but they are presumably earning money with the link to Today’s Golfer and as long as this keeps their trolley prices reasonable I’m OK with that.

  3. I have had my GoKart since March and must write to let you know how pleased I am with it. It is so light and it is a joy to pick it up and swing it into my car. Likewise the battery with its carrying handle. Brilliant!.
