The GoKart seat has been unavailable for a few weeks.
OK, maybe this hasn’t been the hottest topic around the nation’s golf clubs, but some people have a passing interest. It is now back in stock and available in our webshop.
The reason GoKart owners have been loitering around, rather than sitting, was because we had to modify the seat to be compatible with the latest GoKart wheels. You might ask “why didn’t we coordinate ourselves, and get this done in advance, because standing around on the 2nd tee on Sunday morning, spilling my hot toddy, waiting for the green to clear, while my opponents lounge around on their perches, sipping espresso, is making my legs ache”. It’s a good question, but we couldn’t start this until we had the wheels in production. It was a major tooling change, and to be sure and get it right we needed the wheel in our tool makers hot little hands. So we’re sorry. Now sit down.

Yes, all cart bags fit well. Even those with our competitors’ branding! I have to put a word in here for our soon to be appearing GoKart trolley bag though. We’ve just seen the final version in all the four colours and they look fab. Will be announced on the site as soon as we have them in our hot sticky little mitts.
Here’s a suggestion for you GoKart chappies….how about a can/bottle holder? It would be easy enough to make and could clip to the side of the trolley (somewhere just below the badge on the side?). If you made it to ‘swing’ easily it would fold down nicely when the trolley is collapsed. Very handy on a warm summers day! Also, how about a GoKart golf club bag to match?? I’m sure you guys could come up with a smart, radical design – one with plenty of storage pockets and one that actually makes it easy to select clubs!!! No hows that for a novel idea?? Call me pedantic, but every bag I’ve ever had was a pain to get clubs in and out of…..silly as thats what they’re for aren’t they?

Well great minds and all that…we’re putting the finishing touches to the design of the drinks holder now, so not too long to wait on that one. And we’ll have trolley bags next month. Whilst it’s not a radical re-design of the usual cart bag we’ve ensured that it’s practical and does it’s job without any fuss, has some nifty features and (of course) looks the business. Perfect partner for a GoKart really!
We’ll have some pix on the site soon so keep an eye out…

Somewhat perfect tiiming too, my old bag’s looking a tad shoddy strapped to my whizz-bang trolley!
