Want more aces? Get a GoKart

GoKarteer Joe Davies has holed in one twice in the last few days. OK, we can’t claim any credit for the first one (a 200 plus yds driver off the deck – wow!). But the second one is definitely down to us; it was a GoKart logo’d ball, and would most certainly have lipped out had the extra layer of paint on that side of the ball not tweaked the flight so that it hit the pin and went plop.

He now adjusts his stance a little when playing with an ordinary Titleist.

We’ve known Joe since he bought his GoKart in the early days of 2007. He reviewed us on one of the forums (Golf Magic) and has since been a GoKart stalwart.

But remember, the aces have all happened since he got his trolley. Drinks order from here; Fifteen pints, two shandies, one  bacardi and anything and a mineral water for the dog please.

  1. Hey – I didn’t get any of those balls with my GoKart! I did get a couple of tees though, which I’ve failed to break yet! The magic of GoKart eh…

  2. I can truley claim that my GoKart was wholey responsible for a “hole in one”, my golf club is currentley fitting a new sprinkler and drainage system to several fairways. Recentley playing the par 5, 6th I left my trolley on the short stuff whilst helping my partner to find his ball in the not so short stuff. On returning to my Kart, I discoverd it had dissapeared, my first thought was some thieving toe rag had done a runner with it, however my partner then pointed out that the very large drainage hole about 25ft away had a set of tyre tracks that headed straight to it. On closer inspection there she was laid on her side playing a game of hide and seek, I hadn’t noticed that I had parked it on a downhill slope and after a few moments whilst I was in the trees, she had picked up enough momentum to roll into the hole.
Other than a few muddy marks, which soon cleaned off, she was as right as rain. My first ever “hole in one”, more’s the pity it weren’t with a ball into the cup

  3. Ron,
They’re not easy to come by, although there is one in thick stuff to the right of the 13th at Canterbury GC…grrrr

  4. Had my trolley 2 weeks now. Absolutely brilliant; just don’t let go when on maximum power unless you can run a very nifty 100 metres! The product, the service and the humour are all quite excellent; this company is a real credit to itself and the UK small business community..

  5. Hi I bought my husband one of your Karts for his birthday in August. On his first outing with his works society he won the day with 43 points at Ruddington (what evere that means).
He claims it’s because the use of the kart made him more relaxed on a very hot day, I say he probably cheated.
At first he would not stop singing the Karts praises but now he has changed his tone! He wont stop complaining that he has lost 4 shots of off his handicap since i bought him the Kart and blames me!
P.S,please supply the brolley holders soon he will be worse if he gets wet.

    Thanks Marie
