Christmas can be a tricky time for golfers. There’s no golf on the telly (boo!) You’re not allowed to play on Christmas morning (double-boo!) and when you start looking out of the window longingly, pining for the fairways someone hands you a tea towel to do the drying up. All a bit naff really isn’t it?
So in an effort to keep you happy we come up with a daft quiz or puzzle every year; over the last five years we’ve worked with a very clever puzzle maker called Creo and it’s become a bit of a cult thing. Last year it crashed our server and caused people in 50+ countries to pull out voodoo dolls and curse us.

The prize this year is not just one but TWO GoKarts – a posh lithium one worth £500 and a standard worth £300 (no, not his ‘n hers, one per household otherwise it’s greedy), with a main puzzle and a slightly easier side puzzle. You don’t need to be Einstein to complete it, it’s not golfy so the rest of the family can join in too, and there’ll be regular hints on the GoKart blog if you get stumped.
