Here’s a sneak preview of a change we’re making to the GoKart wheels.
To make best use of our famous furiously frisky motor, we’ll be bringing out a grippier wheel to get that all that power transferred more efficiently. Needless to say, any existing owner suffering wheelspin problems will be able to get hold of a new pair of wheels free of charge. More news on availability soon.
Please note, there’s no need to tell us now if you’d like the new wheels. Please keep an eye on our newsletter; we’ll let you know as soon as we have them available.
The only major problem we have experienced is that when the trolley is used on hardcore paths the vibration is high and becomes uncomfortable to push. This will help with vibration and will stop the spinning, please let me know when available.
Like the new wheels. Just as well you will be providing them FOC to existing owners – as I only received my spanking new GoKart today!
Fantastic deliver service. Can’t wait ’till Sunday to try out on the course. Wife thinks I’m a loony trying it out on the driveway.
Regards
PKP
I am absolutely delighted with my new GoKart, it is now a joy to play, as opposed to pulling my old trolley. The new wheels will be a bonus as i have noticed with the rececent damp conditions, the grip has not been a100%. I have now used it five times and the interest has phenomenal
Great to see – the power is massive and the wheelspin is noticeable on some areas.
I do not have a problem with front wheel build up (the standing water on the course keeps it clean!)
I note that other users have broken the cardholder – add me to the list!
Brilliant idea.
Slipping wheels particularly problematic on wet slopes.
Powerful motor problematic when your mates think it’s a hoot to wind the throttle up to top speed while you are concentrating on a shot and then burst their sides with laughter as you do a wheelie down the course.
Jealousy is a terrible thing:)
great wheels ,look forward to getting them , will definitely stop wheelspins on slippery slopes also like the new front wheel cover please let me know when they are available
This is a very welcome development as playing in hilly and usually “damp” Scotland frequently presents grip problems.
Great idea, you should see the hills on my local course, real mountain goat stuff but the motor copes with it all and would do better with a bit more grip.
AsI have only just got my buggy can I please have the new wheels as soon as possible
They look ideal for my local course, especially when the grass is wet and greasy. and inclines are all to abundant.
Nige
please let me know when available.
thanks, GORDON.
Let me know when new wheels are available as my Gokart is struggling on my Scottish Highlands hilly course during this very wet summer. Hate to think what it will be like when we start getting frosts and snow!!
Even more free parts, keep them coming and I can build a kart for the wife, save swopping her.
It is good to see you keep developing the Go Kart.
The new wheels look to be a good idea as I do get occasional wheelspin on the odd sharp incline.
The front new front wheel cover appears to be excellent provided it still gives full support for the bag.
Please let me know when these modified items will be available.
Keep up the good work.
I wish you and your company the success I believe you deserve.
Cheers
Tom Banks
Grippier wheels would be great during this wonderful non-drought time down here in North Devon, but my GoKart is still performing really well under really difficult conditions. The umbrella holder would also be a very welcome accessory! Thank you GoKart – great product, excellent customer service!
Yeah, These would come in useful here too! No more skidding from side to side when trying to get up to the elevated tee boxes. I had to put the cart on full power to get up one of the bankings and as soon as it gripped it “popped a wheelie” but needless to say I didn’t look as cool as I did when I did the same on my BMX in the 80’s :)
Hi,
I have had problems with a “clogging” front wheel and slipping wheels and I am very impressed and pleased that you are developing solutions to these problems. This is yet another fantastic example of your superb approach to customer service. Well done and I wish all manufacturers had the same standards as you do! It really does make you stand out from the crowd.
Could you please let me know when these wheels and teh fornt wheel modification become available please.
Thanks and keep up the great work!
Kind regards,
Kevin.
The service is great and this offer of the new wheels is no more than we have come to expect from Go-kart. I have recommended six people form Kenilworth Golf club who have bought the machine yet I’m not on your email system. my husband who bought a year after me send your emails through. Can you please add me?
they look great let me know when they are available please as my course gets very wet and claggy or oterwise known as clarty in the north [muddy]
Looks fantastic – I have many many problems with wheel spins. Spokeless ones would make cleaning easier also.
Keep up the good work
Great idea, I’ve had plenty of wheel spin’s going up my hilly course. I’m in South Wales must be the weather……
Yes these look great a great improvement on the previous wheels ,looking forward to trying out a pair!
Can’t wait, my club is in a forest in Germany, and with so much rain this year wheel spin is a big problem, the umbrella holder will be an answer to my prayers. However, my GoKart is miles faster than anyones power kaddy and regularly outstrips them in races down the fairway!
I have had customer service from you to date that far exceeds my expectations ( probably due to other companies who couldn’t give a damn) but the offer of replacement wheels and a new ‘front end’ free of charge, is almost unbelieveable. Are you a charity???. Thanks and keep on with the great service that you offer. I have been battering my mates ears with just how good a company you are, and hope one day they will buy from you.
Thanks again
Rod
I too experienced wheel spin issues in the wet at my course. After some advice from the excellent guys at GoKart I fitted a set of “caterpillars” to the rear wheels. Problem solved.
The standard fixing clips supplied with the caterpillars won’t fit but a long cable tie through each gap in the wheel fixes them in place nicely.
Another fantastic improvement. Any idea when available, please inform or just send. Thanks again for outstanding service!!
Great idea, these look perfect, I’ll definitely be after a set!
This is great news as I play on a hilly course wheel spin can be a problem for my husband and I. Look forward to receiving some new wheels for both our carts.
Nikki
Excellent. Keep these good ideas flowing.
I’ll buy a pair when they’re available.
Also looking forward to the umbrella holder launch.
The seat is the business too BTW. Makes that sip of coffee or Brandy taste even better when you’re sitting down. Why is that?
A scraper/brush option on the front mudguard, to keep the front wheel clear of mud/grass on the course ,would be useful. I do regularly get clogged up during a round.
Yes please new wheels would be of great help. I play on a very hilly course and one experiences a gread deal of wheel spin, particularly when conditions are wet. It is very easy to share the opinion of many others, your after sales service is first class, long may it remain so!
New grippier wheels would be great as would the re-designed front wheel. I had to return my Go Kart last week due to a faulty on/off switch. You sorted this out and returned my cart to me in time for my usual Tuesday round. The cart worked perfectly. Thank you very much for this excellent service. I am also looking forward to the umbrella holder and cart bag.
Keep up the good work.
Peter.
Hi Guys, Funny you should mention Wheel spin as it happens to my
GOKART quiet often on our course which is a mountain course, it happens more on the contours of the course & on some of the steeper slopes. But what a service you guys provide FREE WHEELS and front end Brills. In this day of doom & gloom its nice to be dealing with a company that realy does care about aftersales Well don Lads & Thank you very much
Like many others I too am looking forward to the new improved wheels, and to the redesigned front wheel assembly.
What I really REALLY need, however, is for a total redesign of these units along the lines of the Mississippi paddle steamers! Failing that, how about fitting a snorkel or maybe even a full scuba set??
Replacement wheels? This is fantastic news and yet another example of the exceptional customer service received! Have had a few problems on hilly/wet courses with my current “slicks” and the new design should help. Thanks again Go Kart!
great idea with the wheels, just played my course (alice springs ) and found that the wheels started sliding on the muddy areas /wettish parts (uphill) i found i had to put it on the slowest setting to climb the hills, looking at the new wheels with more grip that problem will be a thing of the past, keep up the good work

Very impressed with my trolley so far.
Please put me down for the new wheels when available, also the improved front support.
Your customer service is second to none.
Living on the cost we play a lot of hilly courses, on the Southdowns in the Brighton area, this will help enormously. Well done again chaps.
Look forward to the new design wheels, they look pretty good to me, again well done GO KART!!!!!!!
Looking forward to gripping stuff.Whats the point in having spikes in your shoes and slick tyres. Lets all stick to-gether.
I play at Hawkhurst which is a very hilly course. Better wheel grip will be a bonus. Thanks for keeping me up to date.
Great idea – I have two fairly steep hills on my course and gripper wheels would make a difference. Another member of my club was impressed by my Go Kart and has already bought one – hopefully more orders to come.
Golfing in Argyll meansits wet, wet ,wet and wheel spin is a norm as is the clogging front wheel so I look forward to the mods. Once again GoKart listen, learn and act on the feedback.
New gripper wheels would be great especially with the wet weather we have been experiencing. Add me to your list.
the wheels are looking good. the kart has pleanty of pulling power, but i do struggle with a couple of particular hill and also in the wet. Now you will be able to get the power down, its made me think…. ever thought of a trolley attachment for us to stand on and get pulled around?! just a crazy thought
great news on the new wheels.would be great getting new ones thank you keep up the good work ,im very impressed
How good are you guys,I was just browsing your site reading about the new front mudgaurd assembly. And was about to ask about more knobbly tyres after todays round of sliding round the course.. when i notice you are already on the case, bring them on, also love neil robertsons idea of the clicking speed adjuster, cause the power of these karts does occasionally catch you of guard, and drags ya down the fairway…Keep it up gokart.. Ste…
The wheels look great, and they will be perfect for those winter/summer conditions……you know, rain rain, rain, rain, rain and more rain… I’d love some to replace my existing ones when they are available.
As the new owner of a pink go-kart, I wish to register how pleased I am with my recent purchase. I am amazed by the interest my new “toy” is already generating!
Your Customer Service is also top of the list!
Playing on the hilly courses of the South coast, and with the rainfall we have experienced in the last couple of weeks, the only negative side has been the “spinning” wheels and the mud guard problem. So I am elated by your move to address these – impressive news!
Please add me to your list.
ahhh non slip wheels thank you.
A plan is already forming – new wheels for general use, and permanently fitted hedgehogs on the originals!
