Three GoKarts to win at the USPGA

uspga09

Will it be an obvious contender? Or like the US and The Open, will the spotlight land on one of the lesser (but still very clever) mortals? Well here we are with the final Major of the year looming, and the chance for not one, not two, but THREE lucky people to win GoKarts by predicting the winner. And if nobody guesses the champ, we’ll go down the list until we get three winners. We’re hellbent on giving these trolleys away. We’ll accost an old lady in the street and force a trolley upon her if you don’t enter. And that would be cruel.

To enter simply post a comment below with your predicted winner, and their finishing score. Entries close with the first tee off time on Thursday 13th August. Entries posted after this using time travel not permitted.

To get you started here are the players (not the full list because that might change a little before the tournament starts on August 13th). You can place your bet on anyone you like, your Uncle Ernest if you want, but just one entry per person please. We notice these things, feel deeply disappointed and go off our food for a few days if you cheat.

  1. Zach Johnson. -8.

Sorry but neither the Brits nor the Europeans stand a chance this year (or any year apart from 2008).

  2. STENSON – Step up my man, i know you can, you know you can, now is the time. Oooo about -7. But won’t be good enough if Tiger is on form.

  3. Just in case Mr Casey can’t find his spare rib I’ll enter a provisional bid….
    Lee Westwood @ -10

  4. If he had a GOKART 10% saving of prize money.
(not sure who posted this but we’re pretty sure it wasn’t Mr. Westwood. he’s on the range warming up…)

  5. That’s it now folks. DJ Trahan has just shanked the opening tee shot off the first (with a driver? that’s clever…) Now we sit back and watch the fun.
Nice spread of bets, as usual lots for Tiger, but the Brits well up there in the reckoning.
Time to find some online coverage and keep an eye on what’s occurring…

  6. Well actually no – we did say we were hellbent on finding winners! So we went down the list and there was Tiger with 5 potential winners. Out came the hat for the draw and three lucky people have been informed this afternoon. We’re just waiting to hear back from two of them and we can announce the winners. Yang surprised everyone, even himself…We’re just a bit sad that there’s no more Majors for a while.
