When we got a phone call from Greaves Best saying that they were putting the trolley forward for the Horners Award, our first reaction was ooooh lovely! & closely followed (in a bit of a quiet voice) actually John, what is the Horners Award? It sounds a bit rude?
Well now we know better. It’s not rude at all, far from it. It’s the most prestigious, oldest award in the British Plastics industry. Only one product/company/process/individual is selected each year. And guess what we won it clever old Greaves Best again, and clever old trolley. Nobody has ever won this and the British Plastics Association Award in the same year. Have to get a bigger mantelpiece!
