  1. Steady Brian !!!

However, I would also be interested in an underwater version of your buggy.

I work for an organisation closely linked to the American Government and I lead a team that has for many years specialised in training animals for surveillance, counter terrorism and “special missions”

We had some notable successes. Dolphins trained to sink ships, Whales to find items lost on the seabed and a chimpanzee to be president and others too sensitive to mention here.

We had a few failures along the way and it is part of my therapy not to bottle them up inside. One was to train mosquitoes to carry spy cameras. Great idea but getting all 56,000 of them to fly in the same direction at the same time proved taxing and as for tying all the little knots – forget it.

Another, was as a variation of the ship sinking dolphins theme. We trained 31 elephants for counter insurgency work in Afghanistan. I figured we could attach explosives to them and off they would go, they would melt into the Afghan terrain, sneak up on the Taleban fighters and boom. A minor flaw in my plans became evident after we had released the first six into Helmand province. My daughter, Brittany discovered in school that elephants are indigenous to Africa, not Afghanistan. That was a blow to moral, I can tell you.

Now, back to an underwater version of your buggy. We have 120 dolphins swimming around in a special facility in Nebraska. They have every comfort. Only problem is that they are bored. I did an experiment and put a golf bag in the harness that had been designed for the explosives. Problem is that they cant reach round and remove a club. So you see – I need 120 buggies that the dolphins can use. Do you do a bulk order discount price and, if I might suggest, a few fishy pictures be added it would be great?

I look forward to hearing from you

    Yours truly,

    Colonel Chuck Meistergripper III

  2. We played Musselborough, the oldest course in the world, using the oldest clubs in the world!!! After a 9 and a 12 from two bunkers plus average drives of 100 yards bring on the technology!!! James Braid and Co. were some players!!!

  3. We are totally envious and if anyone wants to invite us for a game at Musselburgh then we’re headed North before you can say Old Tom Morris. Yes we’re technology junkies and love pushing things forward, but you can’t play this game without being completely in awe of all the old stuff. Take a look here
