Winter Warranty

Are you a fair weather golfer? In winter are you happier spending Sunday potting instead of putting? Would you rather be the driver than use one? You’re not alone. Britain in February and the golf game don’t always mix too well. The trouble is when the cloud parts and the force nine becomes force zephyr, it can be rather nice out there.

So why not be prepared – get the clubs cleaned, tighten your studs, chuck some Christmas balls in the bag. And buy a new electric golf trolley. What’s that – you’re waiting until spring to buy the trolley because you’ll hardly use it now and want a full warranty? Well, we don’t blame you, which is why if you buy now, the warranty runs until May 2009.

So cut the procrastinating, stop tidying the shed, forget painting your soffits and facias and get some golf in. You have our permission.

  1. With reference to your exhortation to get out in the winter, do you supply deep treaded tyres for winter use? When my course gets soggy and/or snowbound there is a strong tendency to wheelspin. Can you advise?

  2. bought my wife gokart for xmas then found that you could not use the trolley without hedgehog wheels only recomended for push trolleys, but fitted them to my wifes gokart using cable ties works just fine.hedgehog wheels are just a cover that fits over the orginal wheels

  3. Fine to use hedgehogs, our warranty is unaffected. They’re performing really well in our tests. Gives your GoKart rather a chunky, off-road look. Very good at traffic lights.

  4. Had my Go Kart for over a week now(Birthday pressie) could not be without it, so light yet sturdy, its excellent.Do you make a brolly holder ? if not when are you going to.. pleeese… ste.

  5. I have had my Gokart for a few of weeks and am most impressed – it does what it says on your tin !! Light and easy !

Having given you the ref.number for the battery on my old (and breaking up) trolley, you said it would be ok with the Gokart carrier. Sad to say, I got the number from the original battery (which ran out of steam after 18 months and has been lying awaiting disposal in my garage for about 15 months) and when I tried to fit the replacement battery I discovered it had a different number and would not fit into the spare carrier I ordered. Just for fun, I fitted the “defunct” battery in the carrier and charged it, and as it seemed to hold the charge I decided to give it a trial on the course. Although, on the previous trolley, it had been failing after 15 holes, on the Gokart it made the full 18 and still had bags of urge. I conclude that the motor and drive on the Gocart is vastly more efficient than on my previous machine. I use the Gokart battery in its red carrier and the “old original” battery in its blue carrier fo alternate rounds. Well done to your product !
