Yes the GoKart freewheels in the direction it drives, so forward. you could just trundle it in front of you.

Hi, I have just bought a used Gokart and its great, but I have two problems. No brake, and nowhere to fit my skycaddie, are you near releasing a gps holder, and how do you stop the little blighter rolling away? Fab product and chuffed to bits with it.
