Multi-coloured golf trolleys
Feb 22 Posted in Blog, GoKart News, Latest News by adminWe’ll be making pink GoKarts next week. As well as blue, red and green ones. We’re very excited. Last year we were a bit Henry Fordish and gave you a choice of grey with green or grey with er…green. Now you can choose your GoKart to match your favorite socks (as long as they’re red, blue, green or pink). The new colours apply to the parts of the GoKart that are currently green. In addition, you now have the option of dark grey for the main frame. We hope there’s something for everyone, but we’re always open to suggestion, so please let us know what you think.

My friends already refer to my trolley as a Fisher Price toy, but they are only jealous. More fancy colours would really upset them.
But at 73, I’m happy to have outgrown Hill Billy.
Good on yer. Peter

Its a pitty you can’t sell the battery mounts and speed controller seperatly so that you can inter change the apperance of your trolley to suit your outfit or your mood. All the colours look great. you have just made a great product even better.

For us minimalists, a grey/grey combination would be really… grey! Not to mention cool and preferable.

I agree with Gerry Boyle. Your initial choice of colour (grey, two tone), was aok. It may be too late to halt the introduction of alternative colour choice, but this is surely frivolous and only adds to your production and storage costs, but what do I know? You have a great product. Maybe you have an improvement to prevent mud and grass from collecting on your front wheel mudguard? Cheers.

No. 1 Fan!! I’m should be on commission the number of these I must have sold for you - just kidding!!
Love the new colours. How about a chameleon one that changes during the round - i.e. bunker colour, rough colour, etc. etc.
Think I will have to get one for each season - I feel a pink one coming on! Thought any more about the seat or backpack?
You just keep getting better and better - well done.

Really gutted that I already have my trolley as all my other golf equipment is pink and black, so the new pink coloured trolley would have been ideal. Can’t afford another one though so will have to wait until this one wears out.

Brought a nice pink trolley for my daughter, who absolutely loves it.
Get lots of admiring glances and comments regarding it especially from the boys, so hopefully sales should go through the roof.
Thanks to Sandy for providing a wonderful friendly service and her advice.

I wanted to say thanks to Sandy for being so helpful, kind and generous to my daughter. It has been an absolute pleasure dealing with you and your company. Your service has been superb and delivery and collection has been fast and on time.
My daughter would like to know when she can put photos on of her with Penelope (the pink trolley) on your blog?
Thanks again, keep up the good work.

Mud guard. I have cut the center of the mud guard back leaving a 10mm strip at the end to act as a spacer and so far so good. Still picks up a bit of rubbish but not enough to jamb the front wheel.
Are we going to see a brolley holder designed to fit the Kart?
A suggestion for an add on and make fellow golfers even more envious. The space between the arms of the Kart just below the bag support would lend itself to a little storage box for refreshments including a bottle or can holder plus a flat to hold the tot of whisky. I can never find a safe place to put it when I have to drive off??

Front Wheel Mudguard - I too find this constantly blocks up causing the wheel to jam, a problem not confined to GOKART.
A colleague found a fix for a rival cart - attach a thin wire scraper, just clear of the wheel, on the inward edge of the mudguard - problem solved.
Question - will this invalidate the guarantee ??
March 6th, 2008 at 4:27 pm
Richard - this wouldn’t invalidate the guarantee. We’re habitual tinkerers ourselves and thoroughly approve.

I have noticed same problem re front wheel collecting too much grass and jamming. Any news of a solution yet?

Hi Mandy,
We’re testing various different solutions and will have a modification to the front wheel assembly later on this year. We’re working on it as we (virtually) speak.

Can you tell me how long the delivery backlog will take to clear ?

Hi Michael,
We’re getting through it! Double espressos instead of Earl Grey and Foo Fighters in the factory…at the moment 5-7 days leadtime, but catching up every day. All the time there’s a delay we’re still offering the transit bag free of charge, people get full details of this when they order.
Selling faster than the greens at Augusta, but we don’t want to keep customers waiting!
