Win a GoKart at the US Open
Jun 08 2009 Posted in Euro, GoKart News, Golf News by GoKartThe 209th US Open starts at Bethpage State Park, New York on 18th June. The big story so far is that we’re giving away a GoKart in the next of our now traditional Majors Competitions. Everybody’s talking about it. Honest.

The rules are simple; just pick the winner, and their winning score, before the opening shot is played on the first day. The first correct entry we pull from the hat gets the GoKart. To enter, click the “add a comment” button below and just enter your details and your answer. That’s it. Have a go, it only takes a jiffy and what is there to lose?
To make it even easier, we’ve prepared a list of all this year’s players (excluding the pre-qualifiers), and the winning scores from the last ten opens. Here’s a link to the USGA site for the US open, so you can swot up on all the latest news.
As for our favourite? Well you know we’re a bit like a broken record about Garcia, but we’ve stuck by him for this long, it really is just a matter of time…you’ll see.

The people who run the company who freeze people may take that as an insult and think it is insulting their work leading to legal action. I won’t tell them if I can get a discount! Please?
June 23rd, 2009 at 1:36 pm
Anybody cryogenically frozen is clinically insane and therefore not to be trusted with a GoKart. So no.
June 22nd, 2009 at 8:21 pm
I have been Cryogenically Frozen since Last Tuesday and if I had been around I would have gone with Lucas Glover on 276. Do I qualify???

Tiger Woods – 279. He has just started to drive the ball straight enough. And he won it last year with a broken leg.

Peter Hanson – 285. It’s got to be worth a bet as he was the last qualifier at Walton Heath by getting a hole in one in the play off. Michael Campbell was the last qualifier in 2005 and went on to win, so what chance Hanson???
