The GoKart Badge
Aug 11 Posted in GoKart News by GoKartBy popular demand, we’ve produced colour coded badges for the GoKart.
We took some stick (ha ha) over our green sticker, that it didn’t quite fit in, when stuck on the red, blue and pink GoKarts. Well…we agree and now have badges that match. These are now fitted to all new trolleys as standard.
If you already have a red/blue/pink GoKart that has the original green logo badge, please let us know and we’d be very happy to send you a matching badge.

Couldn’t agree more.

I have a green trolley and over-content lepus be I. except for the badge. my green badge is starting to peel away at both sides of its equator. so, I was fascinated by this badge story. being a smidgin poseurish on the course, I generally sport a green/red matching outfit, bag and headcovers ensemble (no - it really gets me noticed).therefore I wonder if you can find it in your hearts to send me a shiney red badge for my kart.
thankyou please.

Jeff,
New badge on it’s way.
The last despatch before Christmas will be on December 22nd, although that would be cutting it fine in case the delivery company gets held up in the pre-Christmas rush. Ordering the week before would be safer.
September 25th, 2008 at 9:36 am
Matching decals would be nice please.
Expect an order from my playing partner for a trolley before long. Should I tell him to order well in advance as it’s going to be a Christmas present?
September 22nd, 2008 at 1:08 pm
It is now official. GoKart is not just a trolley - it is a lifestyle choice!!
Love mine. My mates took the piss when they all heard I was going electric, but since seeing my new ‘wheels’, they want to get one as well. Do I get commission?
September 16th, 2008 at 8:40 am
The other half has a pink one and you know how the ladies like to look good on the course!
Ta very much in advance.

We’ve got two in blue, and they are racking up the miles.
Very pleased with them and matching decals would be great!
Thanks,
David Mole.

Neil,
You’re right about the zip. We’ll look into it. Red badge on it’s way!
August 26th, 2008 at 11:00 pm
Hi Team,
My Red GoKart is great! Would look even better with a Red badge.
Look forward to receiving matching one.
Also, may I suggest than the bag has a double zip in future as it would be easier to use.
Great customer service.
Thanks
Neil

I’ve had Nellie (a pink & grey Go Kart) for ten months now, so I should be used to the great customer service, but you exceeded even my high expectations when I mentioned that I had a bit of a wobbly wheel when I requested a new badge.
Within 10 minutes of my comment hitting the interweb, a young man from Go Kart was on the phone (sorry, didn’t get your name) and arranged to send new wheel fittings, which arrived the following day and have now been fitted following the very clear instructions (by the way, have you thought of offering your instruction writing service to ikea?).
I am plased to report that Nellie is now wobble free (at least when she is sober), and has been running around the fairways like a new girl.

Kerri,
Hedgehog wheels are really intended to stop the wheels damaging the grass by flattening it out, but they do also help traction in slippery conditions. We don’t sell Hedgehogs but you can fit them to the GoKart and you can buy them here. They’re quite a tight fit over our wheels, but click here for some info from one owner that may help.
A pink badge on it’s way!
August 23rd, 2008 at 11:24 am
I think that the colour change is great. Please send me a pink one for my trolley to my home address. I haven’t found too much of a problem with the front assembly. But last Thursday I found to my surprise my trolley skidded rather a lot but that was after they closed course and we had to head in. Competition abandoned. Would hedgehog wheels have helped that? If so how can I get some as it always rains here? Kerri

Hi
I have a blue kart, so would love a blue badge, then I’ll be fully colour co-ordinated, even after a duff shot when even the air is blue!!
Thanks Leon North

Hi. I love my new blue GoKart but feel it would be much better with a matching blue badge. Also, I too have a front wheel clogging problem, exacerbated by this bl***y awful weather and would appreciate information on the new mudguard.
Speaking of weather, any news on a brolly holder. Looking at the design from and engineering viewpoint, I can appreciate the technical difficulties though.
ps. Four ladies in our club (Blyth) are now the proud owners of GoKarts thanks to Sonia Appleby.

No badge needed here, but thanks for the offer.

I will also look forward to the new front wheel for help in the rough that I frequently visit.
Keep up the good work

Just a suggestion. Could the hole in the lower bag rest be made a bit larger so that the activator for the bag stand fits into it and does not try to keep splaying the legs (of the bag stand)?
August 19th, 2008 at 2:34 pm
Bought Blue one about six weeks ago and pointed out then the disparity in colour. Please send blue sticker. Thanks John Hardie

Hi Colin,
Green badge on it’s way to you today! When you fit it, can you make sure that the location circle on the gearbox cover is clean and dry. Also that you’re very particular to replace the badge in exactly the right position (with the ball at 4.23 as it appears on a clockface) we’re quite ridiculously fussy about this, probably to the extent of needing medical help. And we do check.
Glad you like the revision to the lower bag rest with the cut out - this is only a halfway house though, there’s a complete revision planned for the Autumn. We’ll happily send you one if you’re finding any sort of clogging is happening again.
Upper bag rest - yes, it’s working well. Takes a lot to make it move once deployed.
Maintenance etc? No, not a bit. No servicing, oiling or anything. Just keep your trolley well exercised.
August 11th, 2008 at 12:26 pm
Hi my green badge has come off - I’m a hardy soul and play in all weather. A mixture of rain and high heat did for it. I dont want to glue over the joint so a new sticky-back verion of “original” green would be appreciated.
New parts :
Front wheel guard very much improved
Bag rest - only collapsed twice humping over very rough, pitted and boggy terrain. Much improved.
Do I need to check connections, oil?, moving parts lubrication etc as an annual type service etc. If yes details please.
