We collect the trolley, bring it back to Canterbury for a bit of a spa break, and send it back to you spick and span and fully fit, along with a fresh new two year warranty. We’ll replace any bits that are looking weary or have been updated – it’s the perfect treat if you’ve racked up a fair few golf course miles. One owner has already asked if her husband can be collected too. We remained politically silent.

Hi Jason – yes you have the option of either a service or a handle upgrade on your trolley (the upgrade also gives your trolley a service) – The service is £99, the upgrade £139. My gokart is now about 4+ years and is looking very tired, bits have broken but it still works ok (sort of) ,I have been looking at alternatives but if I can get it refurbished it should be cheaper.
Your service option is listed at £99 but you haven’t seen mine yet!
Can you give me an idea of what the outside cost for refurb of mine might cost.

If I send my Go Kart back for a service can I use the transit bag as suitable packaging or does it need to be in a box?

It’s not possible to send the trolley in the transit bag we’re afraid – they tend to get into fights with the conveyor belts and make us most unpopular at the depots. You’ll need to find a box (or for a charge we can send you one) – generally if you ask in a big supermarket or B&Q etc they’ll find you a big enough box.
I bought my gokart trolley about 2 years ago and recently I damage the battery holder connections and broke the locating pin on the holder. I sent an email with photos of the damage to the gokart team to see if it could be fixed or replace. That same day I had a pone call from them to say that they will send a replacement with instructions on how to change it over, they asked me to check the connections on the gokart itself to see if there was any damage, which there was not. I asked how much this would be and they said nothing. The next day the replacement part arrived and was fitted. You can’t get better service than that, excellent. I would highly recommend buying from gokart, you get total piece of mind knowing that if you get a problem they will sort it out fast and efficently. What was surprising this day and age is that they didn’t even charge me for anything, even the postage. Well done the gokart team, thankyou very much.
PS is there any chance you could improve my golf, you seem to be very good at helping your customers.

Hi – just wondering how many years the 18 hole battery should last?I have mine about 3 years and play at least once per week…if I need a new one can it be replaced through the trolley servicing option?

Patrick the service doesn’t cover your battery. We can test your battery when we service your trolley and if the capacity is poor, as you suggest, you can buy a new battery and we’ll send it back with your serviced trolley. Three years is a reasonable lifespan given how much you play, they do vary.
Where do i start, firstly to Rob iw ish to thank you for your enthusiastic support to issues that i had with my 6 year old trolley, that i sent for a spa break.
I have to say that these guys deliver everything that they promise and more, my trolley looks brand new, i cannot wait to use it on saturday, hopefully the inspired support i received from the Canterbury boys will transform me on the course.
Thank you so much, and just to let everyone know, i have just changed my battery after six, yes six years!!! It must be a record.

Thanks for the great job you guys did servicing my 3 year old treasured GOKART last week. When I emailed enquiring as to whether the upper arm could be fixed after an unfortunate mishap on the 17th hole of my last round, I got a call within 30 minutes saying yes, we’ll do it for you under our £99 service. What’s more you kindly collected and returned her in time for the following weekend. On opening the box I was immediately impressed by the level of the service with everything brought back up to scratch. Our first reunited outing together was away at Painswick GC, which is like the Himalayas compared to our home course and she performed as new, and with the original 3 year old 18 hole battery :-)
