Win a dozen GoKart balls
Feb 28 2010 Posted in Customer comment by GoKartWe have a little diversion on our blog, which we’ve called in rather understated style ‘THE BIG VOTE’. We thought maybe someone else might like to set the question this time round, so we’re putting up a dozen of our best ‘hole in one friendly’ balls for the person that suggests the question we like the most.

So, your mission is, should you choose to accept it, suggest what the next big vote is going to be. The format is a question, followed by two or more suggested answers. Best to keep the possible answers to a maximum of around four, otherwise the results get a bit woolly.
To help get you in the mood, here are some of the questions we’ve asked in the past, together with the vote results;
Q. When does the golf season start? A. First day of the US Masters (13%), A. It never ends! (87%)
Q. Links golf is the only real golf… A. True (30%), A. Rubbish (70%)
Q. Which club would you like to blend? A. Driver (27%), A. Putter (73%)
Q. What’s the hardest thing to change about your game? A. Grip (22%) , A. Alignment (28%) , A. Temperament (50%)
Q. Mixed golf? A. Oh yes! (50%) A. If I must, (20%) A. Mixed gruesomes?, You must be joking (30%)
Q. Winter golf? A. I play all year, whatever the weather (54%), A. I play all year, unless it’s nasty (42%), A. I only play when the sun has got his hat on, hip hip hip hooray (4%)
To enter, just post your suggestion in the comments below. The one we use first gets the balls.

Thought for the Day
If you can’t repair your brakes, make your horn louder
Class is permanent…
For us amateur golfers there is really only one hard and fast law in golf – you never have a day when all the elements of your game are firing at the same time. If your driving is long and straight, you can’t hit an iron to save your life; if your approaches to the green are laser-like in their accuracy, you can’t buy a putt; and if you putt like God, your bunker play or chipping is embarrassing. Feb 21 2010 Posted in Geoff Waterhouse, GoKart News by GoKartTrustees of the Estate of Leonardo Da Vinci are claiming the GoKart electric golf trolley is a copy of a design produced by the genius inventor around 500 years ago. They’re demanding royalties on all sales, but have indicated they may settle for a good discount on six trolleys as prizes at their annual Leonardo Texas Scramble. A GoKart spokesman, Mr G Waterhouse, when asked for a comment just looked a bit shifty and avoided eye contact.

GoKart enters the space race
Feb 20 2010 Posted in Customer comment by GoKartEight year old Isabel T’s spaceship; a fine bit of recycling we think. Isabel apparently visited the planet Kryton yesterday, saving the planet. Sell any GoKarts, Isabel?

Feb 15 2010 Posted in Club Golfer, Geoff Waterhouse, GoKart News by GoKartWas it the Scots? Or the Dutch? Nope, it all kicked off a heck of a lot earlier than everyone imagines. And here’s the evidence. A brand new old series of cartoons from the legend that is Geoff Waterhouse. We’ll be sending a new one out to you every couple of weeks.
