GoKart caption competition result
Jan 14 2010 Posted in Euro, Geoff Waterhouse, GoKart News by GoKartWell, Ho Ho Ho; there were some rather witty entries to the ‘Jane Colby Caption Competition’. Geoff Waterhouse’s cartoon drew plenty of excellent captions, but to win a dozen of the mystical GoKart Titleists, the winner had to be good, so we enlisted the artist himself as the judge.
Shortlisted in no particular order were Messrs Corbett, Jones and Birnie. But Geoff decided the winner was Robin Corbett with “His Winter game’s not bad, but he can’t seem to hold it together in the summer!”. A dozen balls are on their way. Robin, you can expect at least three holes in one with these babies or your money back.

A sad case
If you are anything like me – and I hope for your sake that you are not – you will, by now, be developing the twitchy-fingered, restless fidgetiness that is indicative of the golfer who cannot golf. In most of the UK snow has been laying for at least a fortnight, which means that we can’t even hit balls at the range, and in my experience the two to three week mark is when the symptoms of NoGoSy (No Golf Syndrome) Extremis set in. Winter Warranty
Jan 09 2010 Posted in GoKart News by GoKartWe’ve been thinking (nothing else to do, can’t play golf). All the GoKarts we’ve sold recently; they’re mostly just sitting around twiddling their cogs (it’s what they do when you’re not looking – didn’t you know?). Most courses are closed and even the smug links course members, with their well drained sandy soil, have had to stay indoors more than usual.
So we’ve decided to do our bit to overcome the winter blues; we’re extending our guarantee. The two year warranty on all GoKarts bought since 1st December 2009 won’t start until 1st April 2010. There’s no need for owners to do anything, we know who bought what and when, and it’ll all take care of itself.
