Fewer calories than chocolate. But a bit chewier.
All orders placed between the 23rd March and the end of the Easter break (midnight Easter Monday) will go into a draw, and the lucky winner will have their purchase price of a trolley completely refunded.
Well, we’re happy because the clocks are going forward, we’ve got four days of golf lined up, and you never know, the sun might just shine (a bit). So all things considered we thought we’d like to spread a little sunshine of our own.
So if you (or a friend) are seriously considering a GoKart but taking a little time to decide, dive on in and place your order before the end of the hols. We’ll announce the winner by Wednesday 15th April.

GoKarteer Joe Davies has holed in one twice in the last few days. OK, we can’t claim any credit for the first one (a 200 plus yds driver off the deck – wow!). But the second one is definitely down to us; it was a GoKart logo’d ball, and would most certainly have lipped out had the extra layer of paint on that side of the ball not tweaked the flight so that it hit the pin and went plop.
He now adjusts his stance a little when playing with an ordinary Titleist.
We’ve known Joe since he bought his GoKart in the early days of 2007. He reviewed us on one of the forums (Golf Magic) and has since been a GoKart stalwart.
But remember, the aces have all happened since he got his trolley. Drinks order from here; Fifteen pints, two shandies, one bacardi and anything and a mineral water for the dog please.

Yes we’re officially overexcited again. Here in the daffodil strewn garden of England, spring is springing and golf courses are looking more than a bit irresistible. And the line up for the Masters is out, so, Ladies and Gents, let battle commence in our competition to win a GoKart at each of the four Majors. You might already know the ropes; simply predict the eventual winner and the winning score and you could win a shiny new GoKart (or the equivalent in batteries and accessories…)
Entries closed now, we’re sorry. We asked them to hold the tee for you, but they wouldn’t! (Thursday 9th April 13.00hrs)
Will Tiger get the huge % of votes he got last year? (doubt it), will the British contingent get your support? (yep), will Augusta look just too perfect to be real? (always)…
Our crystal ball? Well it would be interesting for the young Ryo Ishikawa to feature in there somewhere, but quite a tough call at his age. But we’d put a fiver on either Adam Scott (one tour win already in 2009) or Lee Westwood (had his tonsils out in November so no fear of choking…), or how about Paul Casey (won in Abu Dhabi in January) after last year, that’d be good…with so much quality in the field it’s going to be a good one whatever happens.

our posh new bags. They’re very, very tasty.
In any of the four GoKart colours, it’ll complement your beastie very nicely. Stylish and practical with oodles of sensible pockets (yes there’s a dry pocket and a cooler compartment), outside putter well, external holders for balls, pencils, tees, top rain cover, brolley tie in the proper place ( ie not trapped underneath – why does that always happen with cart bags???) Neat shaft separating system (not 14 full length dividers but efficiently avoids scrambled shafts). Logo’d with tasteful GoKart livery, without being too in-your-face. And all this for just £69 plus £4 p&p. Available for pre-order now (click here to send us a message), with despatch mid April.
Well partly global. In our quiet quest for worldwide fairway domination we’re spreading to some additional golfing territories. Last year saw our launch in Europe with the opening of our Dutch office and website www.gokartgolf.com, now with separate web pages for Holland, Germany, the rest of Europe, and more recently pages in Swedish.
It’s rather ironic that very soon after we launched we overheard some people at a tournament looking at the GoKart whilst it was being used by a Swedish pro. The onlookers assumed that because the trolley was well designed and looked modern, that it must have come from Sweden with the player…the Ikea trolley! (are we allowed to say Ikea? oh well…) So now we’re selling it to Swedes (and they love it!)
It’s easy. Just take a look at the players listed below and see who catches your eye for this year’s green jacket. Post your entry in the box below, saying who you think will win, and what the winning score will be.
Only one prediction per person please, but tell your friends and get them to enter too. We keep everyone’s email address private and don’t pass them on to any third parties. You may get an occasional email newsletter directly from us, but you can unsubscribe with a single click at any time. If more than one person gets it right, we’ll have a draw to pick the winner. Only entries posted before the tournament starts will be considered, and we’ll announce the result here on Monday 13th April.
Here are the players this year;
Miguel Angel Jimenez
Jose Maria Olazabal
And the stats from the last decade for a bit of a clue as to scoring;
1999 Olazabal (280); 2000 Singh (278); 2001 Tiger (272); 2002 Tiger (276); 2003 Weir (281); 2004 Mickelson (279); 2005 Tiger (276); 2006 Mickelson (281); 2007 Johnson (289); 2008 Immelman (280).
