GoKart and the Red Dot Design Award

The GoKart has been entered for the Red Dot Design Award. It’s very famous and one of the largest and most prestigious design competitions in the world, with more than 7000 entries from 60 countries. Here’s a link to the Red Dot Design award website

Now, the GoKart has been entered for four design competitions, and you could be forgiven for thinking that this little golf cart is getting ideas above it’s station, trying to win all the big design awards around the world. Well maybe, but if you don’t try you’ll never know. It’s not been beaten in competition yet, winning the British Plastics Industry Award for Consumer Product of the Year and the Horners Award, which has never been done by one product in the same year before. The GoKart is also in the running for the ID Annual Design Review, so who knows. We’ll let you know how we get on.

“I must be totally honest and say that the GoKart has not reduced my handicap at all. In fact it is a damn nuisance because people keep coming up to me to ask where I bought it, what’s it like etc etc. By the time they have gone I have forgotten where I hit the ball.”

The trolley is great! I was so delighted with it I even bought one for my wife and she doesn’t even play golf.
